Ghatasthapana Puja Vidhi (Step by Step)
1.
Clean the Puja Space
Sprinkle Ganga Jal and draw a rangoli with turmeric or rice flour.
2.
Prepare the Kalash
Fill copper/brass pot with water, put mango leaves, place coconut on top.
3.
Sow Barley Seeds
Place soil in a clay pot, sow 7 types of grains (jau/barley is main).
4.
Install Durga Idol
Place Durga Mata's idol or photo behind the kalash.
5.
Light Akhand Jyoti
Light a continuous lamp (diya) with ghee that burns all 9 days.
6.
Recite Mantras
Chant "Om Dum Durgaye Namaha" and Durga Saptashati daily.
